U.C.I. PARA-CYCLING ROAD WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2018: NELLA PRIMA GIORNATA DI GARE QUATTRO TITOLI A TESTA PER ITALIA ED OLANDA

Maniago, 2 Agosto 2018 – Nove i titoli assegnati nella prima giornata di gare dell’U.C.I. Para-Cycling Road World Championships 2018 di Maniago (PN). Esaltante inizio per la nazionale azzurra che ha conquistato ben quattro medaglie d’oro nelle prove contro il tempo con Fabrizio Cornegliani (MH1), Luca Mazzone (MH2), Federico Mestroni (MH3) e Francesca Porcellato (WH3), una medaglia d’argento con Paolo Cecchetto (MH3) ed una medaglia di bronzo con Ana Maria Vitelaru (WH5). Giornata da ricordare anche per l’Olanda che si è portata a casa quattro titoli iridati con Carmen Koedood (WH2), Jetze Plat (MH4), Jennette Jansen (WH4) e Laura De Vaan (WH5). Gioia anche per l’Australia con il titolo vinto da Emilie Miller (WH1). Domani ancora sfide contro il tempo dalle ore 9:00 alle ore 11:40 e dalle ore 15:30 alle ore 18:30.

Nine titles have been awarded in the first day of rides of U.C.I. Para-Cycling Road World Championships 2018 in Maniago (PN). A fantastic start for the Italian Team, which won four gold medals in the individual time trial with Fabrizio Cornegliani (MH1), Luca Mazzone (MH2), Federico Mestroni (MH3) and Francesca Porcellato (WH3), one silver medal with Paolo Cecchetto (MH3) and one bronze medal with Ana Maria Vitelaru (WH5). The same thing happened to Netherlands, with four gold medals awarded by Carmen Koedood (WH2), Jetze Plat (MH4), Jennette Jansen (WH4) and Laura De Vaan (WH5). Finally, happy day also for Australian Emilie Miller (WH1 champion). Tomorrow another “time trial day”, from 9:00 am to 11:40am and from 3:30pm to 6:30pm.
